To honor the work our artists have done preparing our March programs that were cancelled due to the state of emergency surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak and to help bring music to our audiences at this difficult time we will live stream our French Connection Program for 24 hours, beginning at 8:00 PM Saturday, March 28.


You can stream this on your laptop, iPad, phone, or TV. We are recording with good audio so using earphones will make this the best possible musical experience.


French Connection


Boston Artists Ensemble brings you two Gallic piano trios of inspiration and refinement. Saint-Saëns’ first Piano Trio was inspired by a holiday in the Pyrenees. Ravel’s Trio, dedicated to his counterpoint and theory teacher, opens with a Basque dance zorziko rhythm and uses the extreme ranges of its instruments to create a rich texture of sound.
