After two years of community efforts, the Boston police are wearing body cameras! As the pilot program - announced in September 2015 and begun in September 2016 - draws to its conclusion, BPCAT and its partners want to give residents and officers alike the chance to offer their feedback on the program. Conversations held around the city will allow organizers and researchers to determine best practices moving forward as the full-scale body camera program and policy are developed and finalized.
