Love red wine but think it's not for summer? Think again. The winemaking process called Carbonic Maceration produces juicy, fruity, chillable and chuggable red wines, perfect for summer. The process started in Beaujolais France, but can be done any where and to any grape. And like any technique, it's evolved so there are lots of ways for winemakers to make it their own. Join us for this week's game as we explore these crushable reds. And remember, we want to make learning fun! Each week we pick a wine region or category and put your knowledge to the test with 5 rounds of wine, pop or general culture, history or geography related questions interspersed with 5 rounds of blind tasting. Wine expertise NOT required. You may not gain a Master Somm title by playing, but you could win a gift card! Tickets include a glass of wine to drink, the game and 5 flight pours.
