Franconia Notch is a breathtaking mountain pass in the popular White Mountain National Forest, and Franconia Notch Bike Path is a nine-mile trail within the state park. The path is paved and hilly, with an approximately 800-foot elevation gain from south to north. To bike in the mountains without actually climbing, start at the base of the aerial tramway (which takes visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain for views of New York, Maine and Canada) and ride downhill to the Flume Gorge at the base of Mount Liberty.


We will start from the from Sport Thoma ski shop around 10AM, where we will be taking out bikes in a tram to reach Mt. Cannon, and we will be taking the ~9mile trail to Mt. flume. The bike shop is about 1.5 miles from Mt. flume where we will return the bikes and head out by 4PM.

Funds raised from this adventure will be donated to the North shore Tour de cure event 2020 hosted by the American Diabetes association who have been working to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We are committed to participate together and raise money through this inspirational event, not just because over 30 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because so many of us personally know some of them and want to do something about it.
