Need a New Year’s resolution? Birding is a great way to get outside more, learn about the natural world, and make friends at the same time - three resolutions in one! This lecture covers everything you need to get started—finding birds, choosing binoculars, and using a field guide effectively. For practice in the field, pair this with the Massachusetts Winter Specialties program the following Saturday.
Also open to teens age 14 and older with an adult.
