About This Class
Please note this class meets for 2 evening sessions:

Tuesday August 4 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday August 6 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

So you’re dangerous enough to build things using JavaScript. You’ve created some apps, big or small - enough to be feeling good. But every time you make a change to your code, you get that itch… Am I breaking something? Am I introducing bugs? Do I need to go double-check to ensure everything works properly? It’s time for you to start writing tests.

This 2-evening workshop is for the junior to intermediate JavaScript developer who wants to step up their game. It will cover front-end testing of JavaScript applications, whether they may be Angular, Backbone, jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, or otherwise. Learn why nearly all the successful projects you’ve seen on GitHub have that “test” or “spec” directory, and find out how to get the same benefits for yourself. You will learn the process, tools, and techniques needed to fully test your front-end applications.

By learning Behavior-Driven Development, you’ll be able to:

Write better, cleaner, bug-free code
Build maintainable projects
Make your team members very happy
Be a more confident developer
