Words surround us but how often do they change lives? Too often, barriers of language and access limit this infinite potential. And yet, song lyrics provide common ground on which all manner of personalities, races, and classes can stand to stretch and challenge our perspectives. From Common to Cole Porter, Dylan to Destiny's Child, song lyrics animate emotions, images, and ideas which might otherwise lie dormant.
On January 19th, Room to Read teams up with AERONAUT to bring to you BEERS FOR BOOKS: The Power of Words. Throughout the night, we will be tweeting the following prompts, and we want you to respond back over Twitter with song lyrics that...
