Kennedy’s on the Square, located in the heart of Harvard Square, invites customers to join them for a Two Roads Brewing Co. beer launch party and tasting sponsored by Pintley, a company dedicated to connecting specialty brewers to beer enthusiasts nationwide. The event promises a night filled with a variety of year-round, seasonal and specialty beverages from the Stratford, Connecticut brewery, as well as raffle prizes.
This Pintley event differs from others because it’s a beer premiere. Worker’s Stomp, a saison aged in Chardonnay barrels, will be available for the first time at Kennedy’s and is one of the only kegs in the state—making it one of the first places in Mass. that people can drink it. Worker’s Stomp, a revamped version of the brewery’s Worker’s Comp Saison, is a 7.5% ABV Saison brewed with a variety of malted and unmalted grains, as traditional for the style. It’s less spicy and has more hop character than the Worker’s Comp Saison, a Belgian style Farmhouse ale that’s earthy and spicy with notes of clove and passion fruit. Two Roads’ Brewmaster Phil Markowski is a world-renowned craft brewer and (literally) wrote the book on how to brew saisons.
Craft brews will include: Worker’s Stomp Saison, Worker’s Comp Saison, Road 2 Ruin Double IPA, No Limits Hefeweizen, winter seasonal Route of All Evil, and Unorthodox, a Russian Imperial Stout. Kennedy’s on the Square will create a special menu to recommend food and brew pairings to complement the many different flavors.
This event is free to attend; pay as you eat and drink.
