Do you know a child who loves to sing? We would love to hear them! Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) invites singers, aged 7-18, to join us in the fall for our 2022-2023 season.
To join the choir, every age-eligible prospective singer will meet with two conductors for a placement session. Placement sessions are BCC’s version of auditions, except every singer has a place. This is our chance to get to meet you, hear you sing, and welcome you to the choir! Prepare an excerpt of a song to sing (even Happy Birthday works!), answer a few questions, and tell us why you want to sing at BCC. That’s it! Anyone who auditions have a spot in one of our choirs and finance is never a barrier to participation. Every singer who participates in a placement session will be assigned to one of our training, intermediate or advanced choirs. A singer's choir placement is based on their age, skill, maturity, and schedule availability. Singers ages 7-11 will audition in groups of up to 15. Singers 12-18 will audition individually.
