For one night only, on July 29, 2014, The Boston Center of Adult Education (BCAE) is offering an African Cooking class taught by BCAE instructor Diane Manteca. During the three hour course, students will learn how to make dishes from many areas of Africa, including Ethiopia, and each student will leave with recipe cards so they can replicate the culinary creations at home! Manteca will teach students how to make an African shrimp and curry dish, doro wot (Red Chicken Stew), and Ethiopian style lentils and yams. In addition, students will make and cook with the traditional Ethiopian Berbere spice mix which they will be able to take home.
