Shakespeare to Hiphop will thrill you with a late night interlude that is all the way live! They'll remix the Bard’s words, back it with a funky beat, and connect the past to the present to breath new life into these classic works in an evening that is sure to feed your soul. The Shakespeare Time-Traveling Speakeasy is a multi-media, musical and literary concert exploring the mysteries of William Shakespeare through blues, jazz, hip-hop, country, funk and more as a backdrop for stories, poems, songs and humor relating to “the Cat from Strat” (Stratford upon Avon, that is).

About Shakespeare to Hiphop
Shakespeare to Hip-hop is the combined poetic and performance talents of literary performers Regie Gibson and Marlon Carey. Both have been featured at several TED events and on various NPR programs, most recently WBUR’s Radio Boston.
