BalletX is Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet. The company, led by Artistic & Executive Director Christine Cox, produces original choreography that expands the vocabulary of classical dance for all audiences. The dancers of BalletX have been named “among America’s best” by The New York Times. BalletX Spring Series 2019 features the East Coast Premiere of gravity-defying, viral video star Lil Buck's 'Express,' an East Coast Premiere by movement visionary and Philadelphia favorite Nicolo Fonte, and a World Premiere by 2019 Choreographic Fellow, Katarzyna Skarpetowska. The BalletX Choreographic Fellowship is made possible by generous support from David Haas and the Wyncote Foundation.
