Experience the poetry of music . . . and the music of poetry
"In beauty may I walk" features the soothing music of Alice Parker, Jonathan Dove, Meredith Monk, and Stephen Paulus, and the thoughtful poetry of Emily Dickinson, Michael Dennis Browne, and others.
This unique, soul-soothing choral experience includes "A Procession Winding Around Me", a Jeffrey Van compsition that sets poems of Walt Whitman to music and features very special guest Zaira Meneses on classical guitar
With the acoustically-rich accompaniment of guitar, cello, and piano, what better way to listen to the poets’ words than with beautiful choral renderings and tenor soloist.
“In beauty may I walk … with beauty all around me”… lines that evoke the moments in which all seems right with the world, in which everything is clear, in which the separation between yourself and everything else dissolves.
