Books and Wine Series

"This wine is too good for toast-drinking, my dear. You don't want to mix emotions up with a wine like that. You lose the taste." - Ernest Hemingway, The Sun Also Rises

Join us for a guided wine tasting course led by Boston sommelier Noell Dorsey. Noell will walk you through an array of fine wines inspired by famous authors from Hemingway to Angelou, Dante to Jane Austen and more. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and master the basics of wine tasting while discussing these iconic writers and their contributions to the world at large. Open to all wine levels and literary enthusiasts from novice to expert!

You can choose to take this class in person at Commonwealth Wine School or online streaming through Zoom. Tastings are provided as part of the in person class. A list of suggested wines will be provided for students who choose to join from home, prior to class so that you can taste along.
