Death is merely a change in condition…” Join Atlas Obscura and Laurel Hill Cemetery for an immersive evening as we explore the liminal world that exists between the land of the living and the realm of the dead. The souls of Laurel Hill invite you to contemplate the veil between life and the afterlife. An evening of hidden art, music, cocktails and entertainment will await under the cover of night as you choose your own path of discovery through the Cemetery’s enchanting hallowed grounds.
Featuring a tribute to the works of David Lynch by Silencio, the New Perplexity Daxophone Quartet,
Marrshuun, Jypsy JeyFree, and more.
Cocktail attire is encouraged, along with sensible footwear. Bring your own flashlight or purchase one at the Cemetery. Cash bars will be open throughout the evening.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 23 from 8pm-12am (with a pre-scheduled rain date of Sunday, September 24, 8pm-12am), departing from Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Gatehouse entrance at 3822 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132. Free parking is located in the lot across the street from the Gatehouse.
