Raised with devotion for music, tenor saxophonist Gregory Groover Jr. is an accomplished musician, composer, and educator.
In 2011 Groover was the recipient of the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.
Holding Bachelors and Masters in Music Performance Studies through Berklee’s Global Jazz Institute.
Goover has performed at festivals such as the Heineken Jazz Festival, the Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival, and the Panama Jazz Festival, and has had the honor to share the stage with prestigious musicians such as Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind, and Fire), Patrice Rushen, Terri Lyne Carrington, Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade, and Esperanza Spalding.
