An exhibition of artwork at The Atlantic Wharf Gallery by the artists of the 249 A Street Artists Cooperative will run from May 7, 2023 thru August 11, 2023.
The opening reception will be on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:30 - 7:30pm and is open to the public.
This wide-ranging exhibition of paintings, ceramics, photography & sculpture will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 249 A Street Artists’ Cooperative in Fort Point, Boston.
Providing a rich historical aspect to this art exhibition, many photographs of this unique building since 1900 will be on display along with some of the political and legal challenges faced, select anecdotes and stories of how the cooperative came to be.
