Join us for the opening reception of the Artist in Residence Exhibition, featuring our 2016-2017 AIR, Martin McDermott. See what work Martin has made in his past year at Mudflat during his residency.


The opening reception will be held Wednesday, July 12th from 6-8 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

About the Artist:
Martin McDermott recently received his MFA in Ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design. He also has an MA in Teaching from Colorado College and a BA in Visual Art and Art History from Emory University. Martin taught high school art for 6 years, designing and teaching courses in ceramics, sculpture, photography and introductory art. His work was exhibited in The State of Clay, 2016 and in the RISD Graduate Ceramics Biennial.
