This is the first curated solo exhibition by local artist Domenic Esposito, which kicks off with an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 7 at the Piano Craft Gallery. The exhibition runs from Jan 7-30, 2022.

Back in 2018, Domenic achieved national attention through his massive opioid spoon sculptures placed in front of the headquarters of major pharmaceutical giants, making a statement on behalf of all those deeply affected by this national epidemic. He also founded the Opioid Spoon Project to help seek legal justice and bring voice to the destructive effects of opioid addiction on people from all walks of life.

Domenic's most recent work to be displayed at this show, reflects the devastation of opioid addiction, as well as coping with loss, recovery and finding hope. As part of this exhibition month, there will also be a lecture series with leading artists, academics and notable individuals that have a connection to Domenic’s art and activism.
