Nothing says summer like a gimlet, fizz or martini! Tired of serving these same gin drinks during the warmer months? Join the BCA and Traveling Foodie in 4'" Stilettos and learn more about the different types of this aromatic spirit (and how to use them to create your own cocktails). For example did you know that gin was invented by an early 17th century Dutch doctor? This month’s guest Sahil Mehta, bartender at Estragon Tapas Bar leads a fun evening of drinking gin cocktails, enjoying Spanish snacks from Estragon and learning more about this great liquor!
First Seating 6-7:30pm
Second Seating 8-9:30pm
Pre-registration $25
Door $30
Space is limited in each session to ensure a small intimate conversation with Sahil
About Sahil Mehta
Sahil Mehta is a bartender at Estragon Tapas Bar in the South End. His cocktail recipes have been featured in a number of local and national publications such as Improper Bostonian, Mutineer Magazine, and Craft as well as on Web sites such as boston.com and Cocktail Virgin. Inspired by his childhood in India, his love of all things culinary, and a mild obsession with sherry, gin, and mescal, his cocktails bring together complex and unexpected flavors.
What is Art of the Cocktail?
