The 2023 pick your own season is here!


The 2023 Pick Your Own season is here!!! Although with that being said, it may look a little different this season than most! Please read for an update on everything that has been going on this winter….


Due to the every crazy weather we have been having this year already, some of our crops will not be making it this season and others may not be as big as we had hoped! Due to the frigid weather the first weekend in February (it got down to -17 degrees here), we sadly lost all of our cherry, peach and nectarine crops! We are sure you have seen it on the news but we wanted to confirm here that it is in fact true. Not only did we lose our crops, but it is the same throughout all of New England! Trust us…we are just as sad about this as everyone else is!


PYO Blueberries are doing great and continue to be open from 9-3! Please be sure to check out our Facebook Page for daily updates as we do sometimes close them down before a weekend to make sure there is ample picking available on Saturdays and Sundays.


PYO Raspberries are just beginning and are looking great! The season just started and the raspberries are coming along nicely.


PYO Apples will begin the weekend after Labor Day. Due to the crazy winter weather we have had our apple crop isn’t as great as we would like it to be and some varieties did not make it through the couple extremely cold weekends. Keep an eye out on Facebook as we will update you there with daily updates and changes.


Please remember, due to state regulations, pets are NOT allowed at Carlson Orchards. While we love all animals, please keep yours at home. Thank you for your understanding.


Carlson Orchards is a 100 acre working farm run by the second generation of Carlsons in Harvard, Massachusetts. We welcome all sorts of folks out to the country throughout the year to pick a variety of fruit crops.


Our home orchard is 50 acres of rolling green fruit trees, a prolific 50 year old blueberry patch, a raspberry patch, sweet cherries, several grassy fields suitable for gazing at the clouds, a frog pond, nine varieties of peaches, five varieties of nectarines, and of course…APPLES!! Over 20 varieties.

Directions: Conveniently located off Route 495 and Route 2 in Harvard, MA, the Orchards are 45 minutes due West of Boston and 20 minutes East of Worcester.


Pick-Your-Own Hours: OPEN 9-3 daily but it is best to double check our Facebook page or give us a call before coming out as we sometimes have to shut down due to weather.


Retail Store Hours: Monday – Sunday 9-6
