Three Latinx organizations in Massachusetts, Hyde Square Task Force, Amplify Latinx, and Ágora Cultural Architects, come together to keep Latino culture buzzing with #CadenciaLatina: Performances from home.


On July 5th at 7 PM, Andrea Cruz, a talented Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and guitar player will be performing on Facebook Live. Cruz is an award winning singer and artist, creating her unique sound in 2014 which combines indie folk with anglo influences and Latin American sounds. Her talent as an artist and her unique sound have led to her incredible success. She takes great inspiration from her cultural background and creates a unique musical experience. Her first album in 2017 “Tejido de Laurel” reached top charts in Puerto Rico and she has since then performed in the renowned music festival SXSW in Austin, TX. Additionally she opened for Kany García in 2019 in Puerto Rico and has participated in the globally recognized Tiny Desk Concert Series by NPR Music. Today she is promoting her second album, “Sentir no es del Tiempo”. Tune in on Andrea Cruz’s Facebook Page and enjoy this amazing performance from the safety of your home.
