Join us for an evening of discussion, reflection, and discourse with a panel of female entrepreneurs, artists, and business leaders. You’ll hear their first-hand accounts of their personal journeys and collective experiences across different sectors. Panelists include: Jeri Lynn Johnson the Artistic Director for the Black Pearl Orchestra; Vernique Fields (AKA DJ Neeek Nyce) the Owner of Into Fields Live Entertainment; Carol Stoudt the Founder & Brewer at Stoudt’s Brewing Company; and Emily Selvin the Artist/Owner of Selvin Glass.
This program honors Women’s History Month and reflects themes found in Welcome The Stranger, the one-woman exhibit reimagining modern and historical “superheroes” at NLM through June. You’ll get exclusive access to the show and experience artist Micaela Amateau Amato’s cast glass, ceramics, and mixed media pieces interpreting figures like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Harriet Tubman, Malala Yousafzai, and many others who have accepted seemingly impossible challenges of liberty.
