Join us to celebrate a local legend with an evening of music, food and fun!


Mezzo-Soprano Vanessa Schukis portrays twentieth-century culinary icon Julia Child in composer Lee Hoiby’s BON APPÉTIT! Ms. Schukis is a recognized actress and a character mezzo who will keep you laughing with her fast-paced rendering of Julia Child in the kitchen. The 25 minute one-act operetta, accompanied by pianist, Scott Nicholas, is based on two episodes from Julia Child’s popular cooking show in which she concocts a chocolate cake.


The event will take place in deCordova | Cafe. Tickets include Julia Child inspired snacks and beverages. Doors open at 5:00, with jazz guitar, followed by “Bon Appetit”.
