Introducing Agni Flow lead by Yoga Shred TM trained instructor, Kimberly Washington. Agni Flow is an all level yoga fusion class combining yoga with High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) performed in an upbeat fast paced class environment.


Agni is a Sanskrit word meaning “fire” and in the ancient practice of Ayurveda, Agni is considered a form of biological energy in the body.


The yoga portion of the class focuses on lengthening and elongating the body to activate slow-twitch muscle fibers. This focus gives us more endurance, balance, and stamina in holding our strength building yoga postures. Yoga increases flexibility in the muscles and joints while providing an overall holistic balance to the body.
The HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, portion of the class is done at a fast pace using the Tabata training method.Now we work to activate fast-twitch muscle fibers to define and sculpt powerful lean muscles. HIIT provides a cardio benefit by getting our heart rate up, and you torch calories by raising your metabolic rate creating an afterburn effect where you keep burning calories even after your workout is over!
