Aeronaut Allston: Emily and Jake, Old Fox

AERONAUT Allston runs through September... and now on THURSDAYS!!!

We've been packing crowds into the awesome new outdoor community program and performance space at Zone 3's hub of activity, 267 Western Ave in Allston. It's an upgrade from the blacktop parking lot of the past two years – but it still feels like home!

Our 3rd season showcases the best in local bands and musicians, fantastic local food trucks, and great beer!

AERONAUT Allston takes place every WEDNESDAY (5-9:30pm), THURSDAY (5-9:30pm) and FRIDAY (5-11pm), June 1 to September 28 at Zone 3 (267 Western Ave). See our full season lineup here: http://www.zone3westernave.com/aeronaut/

FEATURED MUSICAL ACTS for THURS SEPT 27

We're sure to have a packed crowd so get there EARLY for the best seats on the lawn.

Emily and Jake Music (6pm)
Formed in Boston, Emily and Jake are an indie duo whose influences include folk, pop, and Fleetwood Macesque rock. The duo came together in 2017 when songwriters Emily MacDonald and Jacob McCurdy met in Cambridge, MA at a Lizard Lounge open mic night. Since then, they create lively and fun acoustic music that reflect their attitudes on life.

In 2018, Emily and Jake exploded into the Boston music scene. They’ve collaborated with a number of local artists and are booked to play a number of music festivals in the New England area. In March they released their first single, Last Bus to Portland. They partnered with local Portland, ME production company Dapper Productions LLC and are recording their first EP, St. Augustine to be released in October.

Old Fox (7:30pm)
Old Fox is Alex, Ralph, Connor, Kevin, Jon, and Max. O.F. draws from influences, Frightened Rabbit, Hozier, and Bon Iver to create a rhythmically exciting, melodic, and lyric driven experience for listeners. In March 2018, Alex and Ralph decided to build the band and music around the phrase, "Honest words for honest people." The focus is simple, vulnerable, and tangible to anyone who has the time to listen.

O.F. will go to the studio for the first time this August to record their first record.
