Dear friends – it's been a long, cold, lonely winter but we're thrilled to announce...

AERONAUT Allston is back!!!

It's our third season of free, outdoor, family-friendly musical beer gardens at Zone 3's hub of activity, 267 Western Ave in Allston, and we have loads of new stuff to reveal.

The series features live music and performance by emerging local artists, the best local food trucks, and great beer! This year AERONAUT will help Zone 3 open its awesome new outdoor community program and performance space. It's an upgrade from the blacktop parking lot of the past two years – but it still feels like home!

AERONAUT Allston takes place every WEDNESDAY (5-9:30pm) and FRIDAY (5-11pm), June 1 to September 28 at Zone 3 (267 Western Ave).

This season will highlight...

--a rotating lineup of Boston's top food trucks!
--the best of emerging and established Boston-area performers and bands!

Zone 3 is a Harvard-sparked initiative to further activate and energize Western Ave with creative programs, events, and retail. More info: Zone3WesternAve.com

FEATURED MUSICAL ACTS for FRI JUNE 15

PLEASE NOTE: Arc Iris's booking for this date has been rescheduled for Friday, September 7. Aubrey Haddard will play the 9pm slot instead, and we're thrilled to have Morningbird join us for the first slot at 7pm!

Morningbird (7pm)
Boston-based alternative/indie rock group Morningbird has a unique sound that combines the elegance and familiarity of classic rock legends like The Beatles and Queen with the new wave synth based sounds of contemporary pop-rock. The band was founded by Max Challis and John Cattini, who met in 2012 at Berklee's 5-week summer program.

Morningbird was named as The Deli Magazine's Emerging Artist of the Month for December 2017.

"The layered harmonies and delicately played piano are somewhat reminiscent of flashy rock bands like Queen and the crescendo to a balanced mix of drums, strings, guitar, and bass burst open to reveal Morningbird as a rock group that dabbles in the dramatic."

Aubrey Haddard (9pm)
Vocalist and songstress Aubrey Haddard bridges the gap between new-wave R&B and old-school blues with timeless soul and effortless melody. Performances by the 24 year old are refreshingly raw and hauntingly hypnotic, captivating audiences with a whiskey-soaked, sugar-coated voice that weaves itself in and out of groove-centric original music.

Born and raised in the Hudson River Valley, Haddard was awarded ‘Massachusetts Solo Artist of the Year’ by Bridging the Music Productions, and has become the front woman of the Boston-based original funk group The New Review. This group heralded recognition from the illustrious NPR Tiny Desk Competition, who stated “it sounds like she’s about to catch fire.” In May of 2017, the Aubrey's trio began working on a full length studio album called Blue Part, a concept album steeped in the concepts of love, relationships, and passion.
