Join us for an hour of children’s yoga and mindfulness. Draw inspiration from animals and nature and have fun trying out different beginner level poses together. Learn and practice yoga postures to help improve focus, concentration, coordination, strength, self-confidence. This beginner level class is open to children and their adult companions of any skill level and ability. Participants must come with their own yoga mat.
Emma Bartolini is an artist, dancer and yoga teacher, with a special affinity for all things botanical. Emma has a love for mentoring and instructing children in many forms of art including storytelling, photography and more. Emma’s classes draw upon her background incorporate many layers of performing, movement, and visual arts that help children connect to yoga by introducing essential tools for self-confidence, strength, and mind and body calm. Emma is a CYT 200 HR Yoga Instructor/Gentle Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga and Children’s Certified Kidding Around Yoga Instructor. Follow her on Instagram and Facebook @childrensmindfulyoga.
$12 Member Youth, $12 Member Adult; $16 Youth, $20 Adult (Registration includes admission to the Garden)
Additional Program Information
PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN WITH THEIR ADULT COMPANIONS. Adults will participate alongside their children during class.
This class is held entirely outdoors. Participants should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Please note, there is currently construction happening at Tower Hill which may result in altered or obstructed walkways, parking lots, and parking spaces, in addition to some noise.
