Join ASPIRE & Elephant Havens as they partner for the first time! Ticket purchases will support both of these nonprofits' programming that build a resilient future!
This Saturday morning, you can check out a brief tour of the Elephant Havens facility in Botswana. The co-founders will also share some inspirational words before leading us to their baby elephants!
April is the month of awareness for animal cruelty prevention. Following population declines due to poaching for ivory and loss of habitat, the African forest elephant is listed as Critically Endangered and the African savanna elephant is listed as Endangered by IUCN as of March 2021.
Through habitat protection, community outreach, and the rescue and hand-rearing of young elephant orphans, Elephant Havens aims to become a leading voice in wildlife conservation awareness and wildlife protection. We envision a world in which African elephants and local communities co-exist without conflict, and where young elephant orphans are saved and reintroduced into the wild.
ASPIRE builds and empowers a community of Asian-American women. We are currently accepting applications for our fall Mentorship Program (free), and volunteers for our Asian American Womxn in Leadership (AAWIL) Conference. Visit our website to learn more!
