Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ annual Ultimate Tailgate Party will be returning this year on November 18th with an incredible program that will celebrate increasing food justice and social justice in our own communities. U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will be honored with the Thomas M. Menino Award for Leadership for her tireless work to promote equity and justice in the Senate. Bizarre Foods Host Andrew Zimmern will also speak, and later will MC the live-ask portion of the program. Zimmern, a member of Lovin’ Spoonfuls Culinary Panel and a past Menino Award recipient, is a renowned advocate on issues relating to food justice.



Attendees at this year’s Tailgate will enjoy food from restaurants like Toro, Myers + Chang, Coppa, Puritan & Co., Bar Mezzana, and more than 20 others. The event is held at Cruiseport Boston,1 Black Falcon Avenue, Boston, MA 02210. Tickets sell out each year are and are available on the event website.



The early party kicks off with an exclusive VIP hour, from 6-7 p.m., featuring a dazzling display of cheese, charcuterie, and oysters courtesy of Formaggio Kitchen and Island Creek Oysters. The hour also includes cocktails and champagne, a chance to meet the participating chefs, and the intimate award ceremony honoring Sen. Warren. VIP admission as includes exclusive “buy it now” privileges for all silent auction items. General admission begins at 7 p.m.



General admission tickets are $200 and VIP tickets are available for $300. All proceeds benefit Lovin’ Spoonfuls. Now in its 9th year, the Ultimate Tailgate Party is Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ primary fundraiser of the year, attracting more than 500 people and over 25 restaurants to participate.
