The 6th Annual Filmshift Film Festival takes place every year at the Somerville Theater (Davis Square) in their cozy 30-seat screening room. This year we are showing over 25 feature-length and short independent films from around the world. Films include a feature-length comedy about trying to make it as a bald actor in Hollywoos, a documentary about the struggles of female soccer players in Zanzibar. From a film about soldier's PSTD to one produced in Ccambridge and featuring music by a number of Boston-based bands. From an animated comedy to a multiple award-winning drama taking the indie film festival curcuit by storm...We offer a wide variety of films by passionate filmmakers. Hope to see you there!
$10 to reserve tickets in advance, pay-what-you-want at the door (first-come-first-serve) or if the ticket fee is out of your budget, it's free of charge (pending reserved seat availability)...Ten percent of our gross ticket sales will be donated to Christopher’s Haven, an organization that finds no-cost or low cost housing for families visiting Boston for childhood cancer treatment.
