Join WVRD for our first 4K hike of the summer season!


This hike has a lot to offer; beautiful views, mountain streams, and a 4K summit (sort of). The hike will start at the Waterville Valley Ski area parking lot and follow the Tecumseh trail for 2.5 miles to the summit at 4,003'. Round trip will be about 5 miles.


We will meet at the trailhead in the WV ski area parking lot 15 minutes before the start of the hike. Before hiking we will review required equipment, safety protocols, and the route for the hike.


LEVEL 3: Difficult to strenuous. Outings typically in more remote and rugged locations. Hiking/snowshoeing may take place on trails not well maintained or go off trail. Conditions may be very rough, steep and at altitude.


All hikes require strong physical fitness


All of our guides are Wilderness First Aid certified


All Hikes will meet at the trailhead 15. minutes before start time unless otherwise noted
