Calling all fishermen (or women)! The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 225 and the Sons of the American Legion #225 (Wrentham) are hosting their 2nd Annual "Ox" Fishing Derby Fundraiser on Sat., May 20, 2017.


Registration for the Derby opens at 8:00 a.m. Sweatt Beach (Woolford Rd.) - $25 (includes reception @ Post 225) ; final weigh-in 2:30 p.m. Cash prize for largest fish by weight!


Fishing isn't your 'thing'? Join us from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 225 (592 South St.) for food, music and raffles. Donation: non-derby participants $15 (advance)/$20 (door).


Proceeds will again go toward a memorial plaque or grave marker for U.S. Marine Pfc. William Crawford Lally (29 yrs) a resident of Wrentham who gave his life in WWII.
