Join host ArtWell for a day of imagining community wellness through creativity on Saturday, June 8. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the art, vision, and leadership of our city's youth, as well as contribute their own dreams and ideas for fostering community wellness. Featuring interactive art stations, exhibits, food and drink, music, with performances by Anssumane Sillá, Bethlehem the Vocussionist, former Philadelphia Poet Laureate Yolanda Wisher, current Philadelphia Youth Poet Laureate Wes Matthews, and many more. Local artisans, food trucks, businesses and community partners will also have goods for sale and information available. Music, dance performances, and workshops will occur throughout the afternoon.
The festival will take place at the Oxford Mills complex in the South Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia (bordering Northern Liberties and Fishtown). Oxford Mills features a series of community outdoor spaces including a charming courtyard connected to the historic and pedestrian only Hope Street.
All ages are welcome. Free entry or suggested donation. For tickets or more info: http://theartwell.org
