The 2017 Jamaica Plain Improv Festival invites local comedy teams to showcase the art of longform improv!


JPIF is a 13-hour long form improv marathon hosted by Naffy Improv and The Riot Theater, happening in JP. Yeah, Jamaica Plain - you know, that up and coming neighborhood of Boston? Maybe you've seen a stand up show here, or ate at a niche restaurant, or stumbled into a concert in the back of a warehouse. Yeah, THAT Jamaica Plain. Well, Jamaica Plain also has a growing improv scene based around a little storefront theater on South Street. So The Riot Theater is playing host to the 2nd Annual JPIF. 13 hours of comedy straight, with front row seats right in the heart of Jamaica Plain. Check out a few hours of comedy, or stay for the whole damn thing. Let's keep JP weird!
