Summer nights just got hotter in Harvard Square! Join us on Brattle Plaza (in front of Hidden Sweets, 25 Brattle Street) on Friday, July 25th from 7pm – 10pm to sample a variety of salsa from some of Harvard Square’s hottest spots! Take a salsa dance lesson, sip a ‘mocktail’ and groove the night away to infectious Latin beats.
Beat Hotel, Boloco, Border Cafe, Cancun Taqueria, Felipe’s, FiRE & iCE and one of the newest additions to Harvard Square’s vibrant restaurant scene, Taco Truck, will be on the plaza with spicy salsa and chips for you to sample. To celebrate the recent opening of their bar, Sandrine’s Bistro will host a ‘mocktail’ bar with creatively crafted non-alcoholic versions of your favorite adult libations, available for a nominal charge.
You can’t have a salsa party without salsa music and dancing, and we have you covered! Our musical host for the evening will be DJ D. Martinez. D. adds his unique blend at some of the hippest Latin dance events in and around Boston. Dancer instructor extraordinaire, Matei will be joining us to teach Latin dance steps and how to move with rhythm and style that grabs attention on the dance floor.
