Bostonians tend to climb a lot of stairs due to the apparent citywide initiative that renders 90% of the T’s escalators non-functional at any given time. But that’s not enough for the workout warriors who wake up at 6:30 a.m. every Wednesday to run the Harvard Stadium stairs with the November Project free fitness movement. Turns out having a supportive group of fitness-minded friends is a pretty good motivator, because the Boston-born movement has since expanded to 16 cities across four time zones. We hear there are even plans to start organizing workouts during the other 11 months of the year.
